Adam Hines is the chief of staff in the Office of the CEO (OCEO) and senior managing director at Hines. In this role, he works closely with Co-CEOs Jeff Hines and Laura Hines-Pierce and focuses on the OCEO's high-level strategic priorities, including enhancing Hines’ client engagement strategies and positioning the firm for future growth.

He previously served as managing director and investment management growth officer. In this role, Adam was responsible for overseeing efforts to broaden engagement with high-net-worth investors and family offices. Notably, Adam was instrumental in the creation of Hines Private Wealth Solutions, our platform dedicated to providing a suite of offerings designed to meet individual investors' needs.

Prior to that, he served as managing director of the capital markets group where he helped develop and lead strategic capital raising initiatives in the Americas regions for high-net worth individuals and created the Hines Global Access Partners and Hines Employee Access Partners funds raising $460 million combined. He also played a pivotal role in securing over $600 million through our bond and debt offerings.

Before joining the capital markets group, he served on the Global Investment Strategy team where he supported product and business development globally. This experience has uniquely positioned him to provide the firm with a comprehensive global perspective, drawing upon invaluable insights garnered from his contributions across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

He joined the firm in 2017 in the London office, focusing on residential acquisitions and helped form the European living team who supported the expansion of the company's residential efforts in the region. Before Hines, Adam worked for Dexus Property Group in Sydney, Australia in various roles including research, finance, asset management, and funds management.

Adam graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics. He received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management as well as a MS in Design Innovation from Northwestern University’s Segal Design Institute at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
