If you're looking to gain hands-on real estate experience, Hines is the place for you. We have multiple early experience programs depending on your desired path and what stage you are at in your career journey.

Early Experience Programs at Hines

Skyline Scholars

Our global Skyline Scholars program will ignite your journey in commercial real estate during your freshman or sophomore years. This seven-week educational program helps introduce the vast world of opportunities within the commercial real estate industry to early college students from underrepresented, diverse backgrounds. Skyline Scholars will introduce students to industry concepts and skills while providing networking opportunities with the Hines leadership responsible for shaping skylines around the globe.

Applications open in March.

REDI Internship Program - Undergrad

Jumpstart your path with our 10-week REDI Internship program targeting sophomores and juniors. Candidates accepted to the program will work with our development, investment management, ESG, global ventures, property management, accounting, marketing or other teams.

Applications open on September 1 and close the first Friday in October each year.

REDI Internship Program - MBA

Our summer associate internship program is designed for first year MBAs with two or more years of related work experience. Due to its heavy focus on development or investment management, this program targets outstanding candidates with a successful professional record, providing them with a more customized learning experience and unparalleled access to our senior leadership and management teams for mentorship and guidance.

Applications open in October and close in late fall.

ElevateE - Early Experience Rotation Program

ElevateE is an early experience rotation program designed for a select group of top talent entering the workforce for the first time. Graduates will participate in a two-year rotation with two different lines of business and geographies focusing primarily on real estate development and investment management, as well as venture capital and ESG.

Applications open on September 1 and will be considered on a rolling basis.

What to Expect from the Program

ABC Week for Summer Analysts

Held during your first week, our Analyst Boot Camp consists of introductions to our culture and real estate trainings to leverage in the internship and beyond.

Capstone Presentation

With guidance from our designated mentors, you will present on a real estate topic of your choice at the commencement of our internship experience.

Community Service Day

We encourage our employees to give back to our communities and you'll participate in a group Community Service Project of your choice.

Site Tours and Visits

You'll have insider access to local construction sites and property tours executed by our teams responsible for these world-renowned developments.

Lunch and Learns

Our leaders from across the firm will host lunch for you to network and learn more about a wide variety of company functions.
