Its existing portfolio spans the entire real estate spectrum and comprises offices, prime high street retail, logistics, residential for rent, student housing, mixed use and hotels.

With a pioneering attitude to responding to market trends and opportunities, Hines Spain - led by Vanessa Gelado, Senior Managing Director and Country Head of Hines Spain - has recently placed a strong emphasis on the living and logistics sector. Key projects include a multifamily scheme in Valdebebas, a new Madrid based residential for rent turn-key development, PBSA developments Cristobal de Moura and Pallars in Barcelona, and the acquisition of two industrial assets located on the industrial estate of Atalayuela, Madrid.

The office sector remains a strong focus and recent acquisitions include the Banco Sabadell Tower in Barcelona, an iconic office building located at Avenida Diagonal 407. Hines Spain will carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of the building following the highest quality standards to maintain the unique character of the tower, with class A energy efficiency to meet the workplace demands of future tenants.
