(HONG KONG) – Hines, the global real estate investment, development, and property manager, announced today that it has opened a new office in Vietnam. The new office marks the firm’s sixth country launch and 10th office location since establishing its presence in Asia Pacific back in 1996.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City, the new office will be the firm’s second in Southeast Asia and will be led by Hines Director, Anh Hao Le, who started with the firm in October 2022. In this role, Le will lead the efforts in business generation to source new acquisitions and development opportunities in Vietnam, working closely with Hines Head of Southeast Asia Kian Fong Lim, who is based in Singapore.
“Vietnam marks the next step of our ambitious growth plans for Asia Pacific, both as an exciting strategic market for us as a firm, but also as a way of strengthening our offering to the region.” said Ray Lawler, chief executive officer, Hines Asia Pacific. “As we see strong demand for opportunities in Vietnam, we are very enthusiastic about the real estate market there and across the region, so are foreseeing continued long-term growth and new business opportunities across all our product categories.”
Le has worked in real estate investment and development in Vietnam for 18 years. Prior to joining Hines, he led investment activities in companies such as VinaCapital Real Estate, JLL, Gaw NP Capital and Sunny World.
