Borgospesso 15, a historical asset located in Milan’s fashion district Quadrilatero della Moda, was acquired in 2021 in a joint venture with Blue Noble with the goal of creating a new serviced apartment complex, confirming Hines’ investment approach in the Italian market with its strong focus on the living sector.
The project aims to reposition an asset of high historical value, offering the Milanese market an innovative solution to the growing “home away from home” trend which will be attractive to national and international visitors alike. This new living model aims to provide a concrete answer to the current limited availability of high-quality short-stay solutions within Milan’s historical center.
The property, with a total area of around 5,000 square meters, will be completely refurbished, adhering to the highest international standards of energy efficiency and sustainability. With a planned opening in 2023, the commercial strategy for the venue envisages units rented out for short stays, offering a full range of services including co-working areas, retail spaces, exercise facilities, an elegant internal courtyard and a rooftop offering panoramic, striking views over Milan.
Apartments will feature a modern and comfortable design. There will be a special focus on large, communal spaces designed for the safety and wellbeing of guests with different needs.
