Hines partnered with SL Green Realty Corp. and NPS to develop One Vanderbilt, a 59-story, 1.6 million-square-foot commercial office tower in Midtown Manhattan between Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues and 42nd and 43rd Streets.
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), the project features a crown that is visible from across the five boroughs and beyond with a spire that extends the official height to 1,401 feet above street level. The development includes over 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space and 104,323 square feet of retail space. The building is topped with a 28,000-square-foot observation deck that occupies floors 57, 58 and 59.
